Programming Note.
This blog has been a lot of fun over the last year, and Song of the Day has been a fun element of my every day life for the last three years… but alas, all good things must come to an end.
As of Wednesday, August 1st, this blog will no longer be active. It will still be up, but I will no longer be posting a Song of the Day. It’s just become too hard to maintain (posting a completely different song and finding a video for it and putting it in iTunes has, frankly, become too time consuming), and I have way too much on my plate. I know, I know— you’re thinking, “How can posting a song take more than a minute?” But I’ll be honest— way more goes into selecting a song than you think.
Anyway, this wasn’t supposed to be a long post. Just a minor programming note. It’s been a super fun year (well, three years, if you’ve been following since the original Facebook days). And this blog might see a rebirth at some point. But as of Wednesday, I’ll officially be dark— 1,095 songs later. :)
